| Field notes | Scandent hemiepiphyte; internodes 3-5 cm; petioles strongly sheathed to 3/4 of their length, D-shaped, striated, flat adaxially or with broad midrib, acute margins; geniculum or petiole apex marked red abaxially; midrib flat on upper, obtusely prominent on lower surface; primary & secondary veins sunken on upper, prominent on lower surface; blade semiglossy, dark green on upper surface, matt & pale green on lower surface; 2 inflorescences per axil, almost sessile; spathe closed, light green to yellow & striate on outside, dark red on inside; inflorescences >20 cm long |
