Field notes Scandent hemiepiphyte; internodes short; pale green velamen roots; cataphylls persisting as brown fibres; petioles terete & sulcate, geniculate; midrib & primary lateral veins prominent on both sides; midrib acute on lower surface; blade obpyriform with spathulate-obovate sinus between posterior lobes, pale green; peduncle 10 cm long; stipe 8 mm long; spadix 7 cm long, cylindric, dark red; spathe yellow, 5 cm long, margins meeting at 180°, insertion on peduncle at 45°.
