| Field notes | Low-lying forest dominated by Eperua falcata Aubl. (Fabaceae, Caesalpinioideae) and Astrocaryum sp. (Arecaceae). Area is pitted with numerous holes ca. 1 m deep (currently containing about 1/3 m of water) and 2-3 m in diameter. Solitary palm; stem ca. 10 cm long; fruit hard, ca. " cm long, 12 mm in diameter, maroon-colored. |
