| Field notes | Solitary understory palm. Stem 4.05 m long, brown, rough; internodes 7 cm long, less than stem diameter; base of stem with cone of 24 roots, 43 cm long, 1.2 cm thick. Leaves 7; leaf sheath 28 cm long, open; petiole 47 cm long, round; rachis 76 cm long; lamina pinnate, 76 cm long, 56 cm wide, glabrous; pinnae 12 per side, regularly inserted, basal pinna 22 cm long, middle pinna 32 cm long, apical pinna 15 cm long. Inflorescence infrafoliar. DNA sample not taken. Transect 1034, subunit no. 52, inside transect. |
