| Field notes | Solitary midstory palm. Stem 4 high, 2.3 cm thick; internodes 6 cm long. Leaves 6; leaf sheath 10 cm long; petiole 11 cm long, section round; rachis 64 cm long; lamina entire, 64 cm long, 56 cm wide; pinnae 7 per side, regularly inserted, basal pinna 11 cm long, middle pinna 37 cm long, apical pinna 18 cm long. Inflorescence interfoliar; prophyll 8 cm long, 1.2 cm wide, herbaceous; peduncular bract 26 cm long, inserted 10 cm from base, brown, herbaceous; peduncle 85 cm long, 1.3 cm wide; rachis 16 cm long, 1.3 cm wide; rachillae 25, 10-28 cm long.
