| Field notes | Solitary understory liana. Stem 11.2 m long, 0.6 cm thick; internodes 12 cm long, green, covered by leaf bases; base of stem with few visible roots. Leaves 14; leaf sheath 10 cm long, closed; petiole 8 cm long, section round; rachis 23 cm long; lamina pinnate, 24 cm long, 15 cm wide, glabrous; pinnae per side 10, regularly inserted, basal pinna 7 cm long, middle pinna 8 cm long, apical pinna 6 cm long.
