| Field notes | Understory, cespitose, liana palm. Stem aerial, 2 m long, 0.3 cm thick, smooth, covered with leaf bases. Leaves 7 per stem; sheaths 25 cm long, closed; petiole 18 cm long; rachis 54 cm long; lamina pinnate, flat, with 3 pinnae per side, basal pinna 21 cm, middle pinna 23 cm, apical pinna 2.5 cm long; cirrus 27 cm long with hooks.
