| Field notes | Solitary rattan, climbing to 8m high. Diam. with sheath 5cm, without sheath 1.5cm; internodes 10-14cm. Sheath green, covered with yellowish brown triangular spines, lcm long. Leaf to 200cm long, with 150cm of cirrus; leaflets 25pairs on the rachis, irregularly arranged. Inflorescence 10cm long, 5 branches. Ripe fruit shiny yellow |
