| Field notes | Big to massive solitary palm, 25m tall. Dbh 11cm, bark withish brown, unconspicuous ring scars. Sheath brownish green, 60cm long. Leaves 12pcs on the crown; leaflets 250-300cm long, 25-26pairs on the rachis; dangling tissue 100-200cm long. Inflorescence infrafoliar, 60cm long, 28 branches, 4 branching order. Flower creamy. Young fruit green, ripe fruit red. |
