| Field notes | Small to medium palm, 6m tall. Dbh 3cm. Leaves 16pcs on the crown. Leaf 150cm long including 50cm petiole; leaflets 40 pairs on each side of the rachis. Inflorescence 90cm long, interfoliar. Young fruit green. Ripe fruit red. Uses: its trunk used for making bow, fruit used as subtitution of bettle nut. |
