Field notes Big solitary rattan, climbing to 15m high. Diam. with sheath to 4cm, without sheath 2cm; node 20cm. Sheath green with triangular black spines, spirally arranged. Leaf to 200cm long; leaflets 11-14pcs on each side of the rachis; cirrus 200cm long. Infructescence to 300cm long, 10 branches, peduncle 70cm. Young fruit green, 1.5 x 1 cm. Uses: The best quality, used for various purposes
