| Field notes | Medium solitary palm, growing to 8m tall. Dbh 15cm. Inconspicuous ring scar. No crown shaft. Leaves 10pcs on the crown; leaf 250m long, petiole 80cm long; leaflets 39pcs on each side of the rachis. Inflorescence 100cm long, peduncle 40cm long, 27 branches. Yaung fruit green becoming red in maturity. Uses its bark used as arrow tip. |
