| Field notes | Clustered rattan, climbing to 30m high. Diam. With sheath 15mm, without sheath l0 mm; nodes to 40cm long. Leaf 65 to 80cm long;leaflets devided into six groups, leaflets at base reflexed, 5 pcs of leaflets at the tip. Flagellum 150cm long. Dead staminode . inflorescences 250cm long, 12 branches, peduncle 100cm long. Uses: it's cane used for various purposes. Local name: Sasami (Wondama lang.) |
