| Field notes | Medium solitary palm, to 25 m tall. Trunk 15 cm in diam, prominent ringed. Sheath dark brown, inner sheaths violet in color. 7 leaves in the crown. Leaf to 200 cm long, petiole 25-35 long. Leaflets 29 pcs on each side of the rachis, praemorse tip. Young dan ripe fruit red in color. Ovoid. |
