Field notes Big solitary rattan climbing to LOB high. Stem with sheath 4cm in diameter, without 2cm. Sheath green covered by brownish white indument. Leaf 2m long, very short petiole ca. 2cm long; leaflets 14 pcs on each side of rachis, cirrus 150cm long. Infructescence 145cm long, , including peduncle 31cm long; 6 branches, 23-28 rachillae on each branch. Fruit scales 14 pcs. The cane used for several purposes, particularly as banding agent
