| Field notes | Big solitary rattan climbing to lOm high. Stem with sheath 4cm in diameter, without 2cm diam. Sheath green, scattered triangular black spines. Leaf 150cm long, petiole 2cm long; leaflets 29pcs on each side of rachis. Infructescence 100-150cm long, peduncle 35cm long; 7 branches, 28 rachillaes on the first branch. Fruit scales 13 pcs. Very usefull rattan for different purposes. Vernacular Name: Futepa (Sumuri lang.) |
