| Field notes | Medium solitary rattan, climbing to 20m high. Stem diam. with sheath 3.5cm, without 2.5cm. Nodes 18-20cm long. Sheath green, covered by dispersed triangular black spines. Leaf 160cm long; cirrus 170cm. 15 leaflets on ' each side of the rachis. Infructesence 80cm long, 6 branches. The cane of the species is used for multy purposes by Matbat people |
