| Field notes | Solitary, small palm to 0.5-1 m tall, with 6-8 leaves in crown. Stem 0.5-1 cm diam., erect to prostrate. Leaf lamina entire-bifid, wavy, mid green and more-or-less glossy above, dull green below. Inflorescence axis and young fruit red; ripe fruit black. Limestone hill surrounded by alluvial forest. Soil clayey with thick humus layer. |
