| Field notes | Solitary, acaulescent palm to 80 cm tall with 5 leaves in crown. Leaf 70-80 cm long including 20-25 cm petiole, mid green above, dull and pale green below; leaflets 3-4 each side of rachis. Inflorescence part subterranean and white, part immediately above leaf litter and green-red. Four individuals sampled here from within the same subpopulation. Clay soil on chalk |
