| Field notes | Vine. Vegetative part with rather strong smell of Passiflora edulis. Bracts deep red, younger bracts with yellow base. Hypanthium greenish yellow, with purple lines inside. Sepals and petals light yellow, sepals slightly darker. Corona purple. Operculum denticulate, purple. Androgynophore white with bluish base. Ovary green, pubescent. Fruits green, arillus orange, seeds black. |
