Field notes Liana, frequent branching. Bracts coherent. Sepals green outside with red margins, shiny red inside. Petals red. Corona 5-seriate, 1.-3. filaments dark purple, 4. and 5. filaments purple. Opercvulum non plicate, pendent recurved, denticulate margin. Limen cup-shaped. Androgynophore green. Ovary dull green. Pollen yellow. Fruit until 5 cm long, green.
