| Field notes | Herb, ca. 60 cm high, upper side of leaves dark, shiny green, inflorescence pendant, bracts and rhachis green, bracts making an angle of 80 ˚-100 ˚ with the rhachis, branches of inflorescence making an angle of ca. 60 ˚ with the rhachis, lower bracts bearing white bulbils, bracteoles, "peduncles", and pedicels pale orange, corolla pale orange, tube bent 90 ˚ upwards near apex of calyx, lobes reflexed, lateral staminoes pale orange, reflexed, labellum pale orange with dark orange-red spot at the base, filaments greenish yellow-orange, curved in young inflorescence, afterwardds spirally rolled inwards. |
