| Field notes | Herb 2 m tall. Leaves to 3 cm widw; bracts orange, callus yellow; bracteole and calyx hyaline, to pinkish; corolla and labellum yellow; stamen exceeding labellum, yellow with reddish apex. Flowers visited by hummingbirds. Locally common. |
