| Field notes | On plant root (bryophyte-covered) of a large forest tree, these all small plants, sterile. Also collected fretile from mossy base of a larger tree adjacent, in deeper shade, hundreds of plants present. Stipe green with some reddish-grey flushing and a narrow grey-red band abaxially, running into basals parts of the rachis. Lamina leathery, both surfaces rich mid-green and mtt. fronds in life held at 10-45 degrees to the vertical. |
