| Field notes | Small tree 2 m. With decussate branches on which flowers are terminal solitary or in pairs, opening slowly during one day to be fully open at dusk, lasting until the folowing morning. Corolla greenish white, sturdy. Unripe fruit though circular in cross section superficially resembling an okra. The ripe fruit has not been seen. |
