| Field notes | A herb with red flowers and aromatic leaves. Common in dooryard gardens. Against "mal de ojo" in infants, combined with other plants, taht are macerated and moistened with brandy. The mixture is then heated slightly, mixed with an egg and smeared over the entire body of the afflicted infant. |
