| Field notes | Vernacular name: Laál, also Espiga. Rheumatism is treated by rubbing with the rather severely burning fresh leaves. Against "hemorragia vaginal" a decoction of the leaves is drunk 4-6 times daily for a week. As a vermifuge the (fresh?) juice of the leaves is used. Also used against nose bleeding. |
