Field notes Vine. Lower leaf pairs often obcordate. Vernacular name: Bejuco rucción morado. This plant is a highly esteemed remedy for various medicinal purposes. Against snake bite it is combined with "parada verde" (Euphorbiaceae), ground and used as a poultice. Against body pain (!) it is ingredient ina "baño".
