| Field notes | Herb to 1.5m tall. Rhizome fleshy within with white mucilage. 25-.5 m naked stem below roseate. Lf. Dull deep green above, grey-green below, pulvinus olive green, articulate with petiole, petiole green with slight groove just above sheath; sheath green , peduncle and bracts green. Sepals and corolla tube white. Petals pale yellow. Outer staminode white marked with purple; callose staminode purple above, white below, cucullate staminode white. |
