| Field notes | Rhizome erect to 11 cm tall, then leaning with areal roots on branches, 4 cm thick. Leafs 73 cm long, petiole 43 cm. 5-6 leafs per plant, tips bending, glaucous yellowish green, fertile leafs yellow. Veins brownish below. Stipe alate, flattened below the first node.
