| Field notes | Tree to 15 m. Petiole 2.40 cm long. Leaflets up to 2 m long, somewhat blueish-green below, about 250 leaflets, division to about 30 cm from the base. Inflorescence 2 m long, rachis 8 cm in diam., green, white powdered, margin of sheath reddish, branches 1.20 m long, about 22 branches, each branch with about 50 spikelets, bracts pale green.
