| Field notes | Tree, 5 m tall, 5 cm in diam. Young twigs, lower side of leaves and primary vein on upper side covered with dense, brown pubescence, secondary veins impressed on upper side. Bracts turning from green to black, caducous. Few flowers, sepals green, petals turning yellow when almost at anthesis, inner base of inner petals white, stamen connective shilds dark yellow, stigmas cream. Young fruits light green |
