| Field notes | Pati is the common name. Solitary palm with 8 m x 15-20 cm trunk. 10-15 LEAVES in crown, spirally arranged and spreading. Leaf petiole 11-12 cm with smooth margins and concave-convex in transection but with a fibrous leaf sheath . Leaf rachis 232-243 cm. 103107 pairs of pinnae which are distributedevenly along the rachis in one plane. Middle pinnae 52-60 cm :: 2.3-2.9 cm.
