| Field notes | Epiphytic climber, lower surface of leaves with a red tip, corolla bilabiate, yellow with a brown dot by the base of the lower lobe, nectary a single bilobed dorsal gland. Note: Superficiallly similar to Columnea strigosa which is common above 2600 m altitude. UNICATE. |
