Field notes Tree, 12 m. tall. Nom. vern.: Alán (Colorado), Aguacate (Spanish). Use: For contraception and sterilization, and the fruits are eaten. Prep.: The seeds are applied for the first purpose. Each day in the afternoon a single seed are boiled, and the decoction are drunk. This proceedure prevents pregnancy, and after one year causes a permanent sterilization.
