Field notes Epiphytic, stems purple vilose, calyx and pedicels orange-red, corolla yellow-red toward the tip, discus of two connate glands. Vernacular name| "umbial" (coaiquer), "concedillo" (castellano). Use| The plant is said to cure the ecyema it causes itself. Preparation| "baño de seco". The plant is burned and applicated to the affected area of the skin.
