Identification qualifier  
Field notes Epiphytic, hanging, lover surface purplish-green, calyx pink with glandular hairs, corolla white, hairy. Some hairs red towards the distal part, discus of two conna- te glands. Vernacular name| "maipe" (coaiquer). Use| Said to cure the ecyema it causes itself. Preparation| The ash from the burned plant is applicated to the affected area. "Baño de seco".
