Identification qualifier  
Field notes Epiphytic, stems, calyx, corolla and nerves on lower leafsurface brownish-red vilose, corolla yellow, 1 cm. Vernacular name| "maipe" (coaiquer), "maipe" (castella- no). Use| Is said to cure the ecyema it causes itself. Preparation| The ash from the burned plant is applica- ted to the affected area. "Baño de seco".
