Field notes Epiphyte with pendent shoots. Leaves red below. Floral bracts light green. Calyx whitish green. Corolla tube yellow with purple base. Corolla tube with twelwe purple dots. Nom. vern.: "Camna-pij" (Coaiquer). Use: for bites of the "Equis" snake. Preparation: the leaves are boiled and placed on the bite while still hot.
