Field notes Epiphyte. Pendent shoots. Leaf margins below red. Leaf tips red. Calyx yellow. Corolla yellow. Two free corolla lobes violet to brown striated. Nom. vern.: "Pij" (Coaiquer). Use: for bites ofthe "Equis" snake. Preparation: from the crude leaves is prepared a bath which is used to bathe the bite.
