| Field notes | Shrub, 1.5 m tall. Cultivated near houses by blacks. Nom. Vern.: Mutu mu tape (Cayapa); Use: For hair washing. By this treatment a disease called "Rasquña", an allergic disease caused by fungi and lice, is cured, and the lice are extermi- nated. Prep.: The leaves are macerated and mixed with water. |
