| Field notes | Slender tree, 10 m tall. Cauliflorous. One fruit in 3 m height. Fruit 25 cm long and very compact. Leaves only aggregated at top of tree, 1.5 m. Nom. Vern.: Lonco (Colorado); Tancare (Spanish); Use: For eczemas and for wounds. Prep.: The inner part of the fruit is grated and boiled and applied to the affected parts. |
