| Field notes | Epiphytic on tree trunks at a height of 1 m. In di- sturbed primary forest. Flowers yellow-white. Upper tepal with purple stripes, the other tepals with a few purple dots. Nom. Vern.: Jelen llaten (Colorado); Use: For bruises and aching joints (rheumatism). Prep.: The stems are macerated and applied warm to the affected parts. |
