| Field notes | Hanging epiphytic from cacao tree. Flowers red. The whole plant with red tinge. Nom. Vern.: Nincharogula balepumangan chino tape (Cayapa); Use: Used by the shamans for many diseases. Prep.: They mix the leaves of the plant in the mouth and blow on the patient. They also massage the body of the patient with the leaves, and apply them to the head to remove headache. |
