| Field notes | Cultivated sterile liana, unknown from the nature. Never fertile. Nom. Vern.: Pindechuba (Cayapa); Use: Used by the shamans for the hallucinogenic effect. Prep.: The stem is boiled and about 5 teaspoonfuls of the decoction is drunk in the evening along with much "aguardiente". |
