| Field notes | Herb, 50 cm tall, with strong aromatic smell. Cultivated both by indians and by negroes. Nom. Vern.: Tebajo quillachi tape (Cayapa); Use: For pains in the stomach. Prep.: The plant is boiled and a cupful of the decoction is drunk. As part of a ritual the middle finger is dipped in the liquid. |
