Field notes Herb, 50 cm tall. Flowers white. Grown by the negroes. Nom. Vern.: Topin remedio (Cayapa); Use: For an intestinal worm called "Lombrize". Prep.: The leaves are boiled and about 5 teaspoonfuls of the decoction are drunk at dawn by the patient, who will then vomit the worms.
