| Field notes | Epiphytic and shaded on calabash tree (Crescentia). Nom. Vern.: Tembo tape (Cayapa); Use: 1) For headache. Prep.: The leaves are macerated, heated in water and drunk. 2) For anaemia. Prep.: The same mixture is drunk (3 teaspoonfuls) or used for massaging the veins. 3) The girls use to rub their body with the leaves, the smell of which is said to make them irresistible to young men. |
