| Field notes | Primary. Tropical lowland evergreen rain forest. Limestone forest. Foothill, under shade. Clustering palm to 2.5 m tall. Crown with 10 leaves. Stem diam. C. 1 cm across, internode 6 cm long. Inflorescences with peduncle, sometimes hidden in leaf sheath, bifurcating to 3-branched. Flowering both infrafoliar and interfoliar. Flowers white. Fruits white, pear-shaped. As stems get to high they senescence to die |
