Field notes Solitary, high climbing rattan. Stem without sheath 9 cm diam., internodes 5-6 cm long. Auricles long, narrowly triangular to c. 40 cm long, covered with soft long white bristles. Petiole 42 cm long, rachis 104 cm long; leaflets regularly arranged, very close together, backwards pointing, 90-110 pairs. Inflorescence hidden in bristles. Common on the flood plains of the forest.
